Questions
Common questions about ai and llm integrations.
Can’t see yours? Email us and a real person will reply.
What can AI realistically do for our business?
The strongest returns usually come from answering questions over your own documents, handling routine customer and staff requests, extracting data from emails and files, and automating multi-step processes across your tools. We start with a short assessment that ranks opportunities by value and feasibility, so you invest where the payback is clearest.
Which AI models do you work with?
We work with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini and open models such as Llama and Mistral, and choose per use case based on accuracy, speed, cost and data requirements. Systems are built so the model can be swapped later without rebuilding the product.
Is our data kept private and secure?
Yes. We use business API terms under which your data is not used to train public models, keep processing in the UK or EU where required, apply role-based access to every document source, and can deploy open models privately inside your own cloud account when data must not leave it.
Should we fine-tune a model or use retrieval over our documents?
Retrieval, often called RAG, is the right starting point when answers must come from your own documents and stay current. Fine-tuning suits tasks that need a consistent style, format or specialist judgement learned from examples. Many production systems combine both, and we recommend the approach after reviewing your data.
What are agentic AI workflows?
Agents are AI systems that plan and carry out multi-step tasks using your tools: reading an email, checking the CRM, booking a slot, drafting a reply and logging the outcome. We build them with clear permissions, audit logs and human approval at the steps that matter.
How do you stop the AI giving wrong answers?
Answers are grounded in your approved sources with citations, tested against an evaluation set of real questions before launch, and monitored in production. Guardrails restrict what the system will answer, and uncertain cases are routed to a person rather than guessed.
How long does an AI project take, and how is it priced?
Most engagements begin with a focused pilot on one high-value use case, delivered against a fixed quote and a dated plan. Once the pilot proves its value, we scale it into production in agreed phases, each priced in advance.
What does it cost to run once it is live?
Running costs are mainly usage-based model fees, which we estimate before build and keep under control with caching, model routing and usage limits. You receive a dashboard showing usage, cost and quality, and the accounts are held in your name.
