Case study

Viasox grew from $12M to $21M in a year.

Viasox, a Canadian brand selling diabetic socks, was turning over $12M a year when it hired us to build a warehouse and order management system. In the year after launch, revenue reached $21M.

  1. The challenge

Growing order volumes needed a faster, more dependable way to pick, pack and dispatch every order.

  2. What we built

A custom warehouse and order management system that brings every order into one place and guides the team from picking to dispatch.

  3. The result

Orders left the warehouse faster, and annual revenue grew from $12M to $21M the following year.

How every project runs

From first call to launch, in four clear steps.

You always know what’s happening next, what it costs and what you get at the end of each step.

  1. Step 1

    Discovery call

A free 20-minute call. You tell us what’s slowing the business down; we ask the awkward questions.

    Free, 20 minutes

You get: A clear next step, even if it isn’t us

  2. Step 2

    Plan and fixed quote

A written plan with scope, dates and one fixed price. No hourly billing surprises.

    One fixed price

You get: A written plan, real dates and one price

  3. Step 3

    Design and build

You review live previews as the work takes shape, so you can steer early, not at the end.

    Live previews

You get: Working pages you can review as we build

  4. Step 4

    Launch and grow

We ship, measure and improve. Ongoing support when you want it, never a lock-in.

You get: A smooth launch, then monthly results

Questions

Common questions about custom software.

Can’t see yours? Email us and a real person will reply.

What kind of software do you build?

Web applications that run a core part of the business: booking and scheduling systems, customer and supplier portals, dispatch and operations dashboards, stock control and internal tools that replace spreadsheets and manual re-keying.

How long does a custom software project take?

It depends on scope. After the discovery call you receive a written plan with each release dated, starting with the smallest version that delivers value, so your team is using the system early rather than waiting for a single large launch.

How is custom software priced?

Each phase receives a fixed quote based on the agreed scope. You know the cost of every release before work begins, and nothing is added without your written approval.

Can it connect to the tools we already use?

Yes. We integrate with accounting, CRM, payments, email and most platforms that offer an API, including Xero, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Stripe and Microsoft 365, so data is entered once and flows where it is needed.

Will we see the system before it is built?

Yes. You review a clickable prototype of the key screens with the people who will use them, and we refine it until the workflow is right before any production code is written.

Who owns the code and the data?

You do. The source code, database and hosting accounts are held in your name, and the system is documented so any competent developer can maintain it.

How do you keep the system and our data secure?

Every system includes user accounts with role-based permissions, encrypted connections, audit history on important changes, automated backups and security updates as part of hosting and support.

What happens after launch?

We monitor the system, fix issues and keep dependencies up to date on a monthly support plan, and continue adding features as the business needs them. There is no long-term contract.
